FULL-STACK · E-COMMERCE
VOLTANO
A full-stack e-commerce system for an electrical products store.
Designed around the store’s actual order, inventory, and delivery workflow, with the frontend and backend working together as one system.
Commerce built around the store’s workflow
VOLTANO is a full-stack e-commerce system for managing and selling electrical products online, covering the customer storefront as well as order, inventory, delivery, and administrative workflows.
The focus was to align the software with the way the store operates rather than building a commerce system around generic CRUD flows.
From Order Placement to Delivery
Orders begin pending administrative review. Once confirmed, they move through preparation and delivery, with modification and cancellation rules changing as fulfillment progresses.
- Pending
- Confirmed
- Preparing
- Out for Delivery
- Delivered
Reserve Inventory on Confirmation
Inventory is not reserved when an order is initially placed. Stock reservation happens when an administrator confirms the order, because that is when the store operationally commits to fulfilling it.
This prevents unconfirmed orders from unnecessarily locking available inventory.

Important Business Rules
- Guest checkout
- Modification and cancellation before Confirmed
- Admin modifications require customer phone approval
- Delivery fees vary by area
- Configurable minimum order amount
- Fractional quantities for length-based products
- Cash on delivery initially
- Unique guest tracking link
What I Built
I built VOLTANO as a complete full-stack system, covering the storefront and user experience as well as the backend, business rules, and data management.
The work includes checkout and order flows, inventory logic, products and categories, delivery areas, operational settings, and identity and authorization through Permixa.
- ASP.NET Core
- Permixa
- SQL Server
- Frontend Web Application
Quality
Core behavior is covered across Domain, Application, Infrastructure, and Integration tests, with emphasis on protecting order, inventory, and critical workflow rules from regressions.
